The Bard's Altar Triptych - Outer by morgandria
The Bard's Altar Triptych - Outer
A gif t for my covenmate and working partner The Bard, on the occasion of his 2nd degree. He has limited space at home, so I had the local highschool woodshop make me a triptych half the size of mine.

The outside has a pair of knotwork cats, and a triqueta. (The Bard's two cats are as different as night and day from each other.)

This wee beastie is 6" wide by 6" tall, and the doors 3"x 6". It also has brass piano hinges and a brass hook latch for the door. It's painted in acrylics.

The Bard's Altar Triptych - Inner
A gif t for my covenmate and working partner The Bard, on the occasion of his 2nd degree. He has limited space at home, so I had the local highschool woodshop make me a triptych half the size of mine.

Like mine, the inside is designed to work with a Wiccan altar.

Pele's Pentacle by morgandria
Pele's Pentacle
This was a gift for my coven sister on the occasion of her 2nd degree. She is a daughter of Pele, and I wanted it to be bright and bold. So much of Pele's art is full of rage (and rightfully so) but that's not what I was looking to capture.

I worked some native Hawaiian flowers into the mix. Ohi'a-lehua (the long tendril flowers) and ʻŌhelo ʻai (the berry) are both sacred to Pele.

Watercolour, metallic acrylic, and ink.

Leather Banner - Manannan Mac Lir by morgandria
Leather Banner - Manannan Mac Lir
I have two huge bags of leather scraps and offcuts that I occasionally get crafty with. I really enjoy turning them into these leather banners. These are both just for fun, and make really nice shrine decorations. They have the added bonus of being portable, so if I need to set up a temporary space somewhere they're durable enough to come along. I free-hand paint these, so they are sometimes a little wonky - but I think that uniqueness adds to their charm.

The bottom edge of this banner features pearls and some big spiky shells from my collection. This banner is 18" long from the bottom of the center shell to the top of the ribbon, when hung.

Leather,  hawthorn wood, acrylic paint, silver wire, glass beads, pearls, shells, metal findings, satin ribbon.

Autumn has proceeded apace, and it's a bit blustery and wet around these parts lately.
I have been pretty quiet on the crafting front but I have lots on my plate, and am hoping to get stuck into some projects as winter comes on.

I've also got an Autumn update on Witchs' Cauldron Creations - 6 new Bracelets, 6 new Necklaces, and 1 lonely pair of Earrings.

Come have a look! -
www.witchscauldron.net/creatio…

It's not too early to start thinking about our winter holidays - maybe a piece of jewelry would be perfect for someone on your list! And if you don't see something, you can always commission a custom piece for that special someone.

Thanks for reading. :)
